Using Google Talk
Using Google Talk is just like using your
Messaging
app. Start the
Google Talk
app and choose the contact you wish to
chat with. Type your message in the
Type
to compose
box and then touch
Send
.
You can keep your chat window open to
have a running chat; alternatively, you can
rely on the
Notification
icon to tell you
when you have a new chat message.
NOTE
: Even if your contact is not online, you can still post your chat message. In this case, your
contact will see it as soon as he or she logs on.
AIM and Other Instant Messaging Apps
The Andoid Market is filled with instant messaging apps.
AIM
is particularly popular chat
program, and it can also be tied to your
app for chat.
