Pre-selector reassembly and fitting:
• Insert the pre-selector;
• Fit the neutral indicator;
• Insert the LH wheel into the special shaft and position
it in neutral;
• Check that the hook works correctly;
• Position the RH wheel correctly by coupling the toothing
and the slot marked with a dot and fit it into the shaft;
• Position the seeger rings in the special seats on the
shafts;
• Check that the wheels are working properly adjusting
the hook effect on the RH one, using the special
adjustment screw;
• Position the complete cover on the gearbox housing
using sealant as a gasket;
• Tighten the fastening screws to the torque prescribed
in the table in chapter 4, section B;
IMPORTANT
The fitting procedure for the pre-selector cover
must only be carried out when the gearbox is in
neutral.
