• Remove the timing sensor “C” as described in chapter
16 section I;
• Remove the oil pressure transmitter “D”;
• Slide out the oil bleeding pipe from the union on the
engine crankcase by loosening the clamp “E”;
• Disconnect the oil scavenge pipe “F” from the chassis;
• Loosen the clamps ”G” fastening the throttle body to
the manifolds;
• Position a suitable support under the engine;
• Loosen and remove the two screws “H” from both sides,
so that the front frame “I” remains fastened to chassis
only through the screws “L”;
• Loosen the screws “L” from both sides, rotate the front
support frame towards the front axle and temporarily
fasten it to the front fork;
WARNING
Protect the front mud-guard which may get
peeled if it comes in contact with the frame.
• Unscrew the two nuts “M” which fasten the engine unit
to the gearbox, in the lower side;
• Unscrew the four screws “N” on the RH side and on
the upper part of the gearbox housing;
• Remove the engine unit from the motorbike.
Engine unit nstallation:
• Proceed with the installation of the engine unit following
the removal procedures in reverse order.
