11.8. - To reboot the Control unit
11.8.1. - The reboot function has the same effect as turning the power off
and on again. It will not delete or restore any settings. To reboot the unit
send the unit the following message: -

11.10. - LED Status
11.10.1. -
The LED’s provides information about the operating state of the
unit.
11.10.2. - The Internal LED (mounted on the PCB) is a bi-colour LED (Green
& Red).
11.10.3. - The Green flashes Refer to the GSM (mobile phone service
Signal) and indicate: -
11.10.3.1. - Single Flash
–
Unit is powered up but No GSM Signal
11.10.3.2. - 2 to 5 Flashes
–
increasing GSM signal (5 is full
strength)
11.10.4. -
The Red flashes Refer to the GPS (Satellites) fixes and indicate: -
11.10.4.1.
–
The number of flashes represents the number of
satellite fixes (the unit can determine an accurate position with as
little as 3 satellite fixes, however depending on the surrounding
terrain and buildings 8 to 12 is typical.
11.10.5. - The External LED (mounted as required) is fitted to provide the
same information as provided by the Internal LED but (depending where
mounted) provides this information in normal use (i.e. when the control
unit is discreetly fitted with the lid on, the Internal LED cannot be seen).
