4.10. - Status LED
4.10.1. - An external LED can be connected to indicate its status (armed or
disarmed) along with its current GPS and GSM signal strengths.
When the system is armed the LED will flash slowly.
When the system is triggered the LED will light constantly.
When the alarm is disarmed the LED will indicate the GSM signal
strength and the number of GPS satellites in view. The LED will
flash in the following pattern:
o
Off for 4 seconds.
o
Flashes Green 1-5 times to indicate GSM signal strength.
o
Off for 1 second.
o
Flashes Red 0-12 times to indicate the number of satellites
in view.
4.10.2. - Connect: -
POSITIVE / RED wire to terminal F (LED+).
NEGATIVE / BLACK wire to terminal G (LED-).
4.11. - Microphone
4.11.1. - A Microphone can be connected to the system. If the system is
phoned it auto answers after 3 rings, once ‘answered’ with the
microphone connected on board activity can be listened to. If a speaker is
also fitted (see below) a two way communication can take place.
4.11.2. - Connect: -
The 3.5mm microphone Jack Plug directly into the socket marked ‘MIC’ on
the PCB.
4.12. - Speaker
4.12.1. - A Speaker can be connected to the system. If the system is
phoned it auto answers after 3 rings, once ‘answered’ with the speaker
connected instructions/information can be passed to those on board. If a
microphone is also fitted (see above) a two way communication can take
place.
