8.3 - Microwave Sensor Set Up
8.3.1 - The sensitivity of the Microwave sensor can be adjusted from
around 0.5m to excess of a 4 meter sphere;
the sensitivity should be
adjusted such that the area requiring detection is covered but above the
waterline and not too large so as to be falsely triggered by passersby or
wildlife.
8.3.2. - To adjust the sensitivity start with
the adjuster rotated fully anti-clockwise
on position indicator 1 and in 1/4
increment stages increase the sensitivity
until the desired area coverage is achieved.
The LED indicates when detection is made,
Extra care should be taken not to
forcefully rotate the adjuster it is a delicate
component and easily damaged

finger tip effort only.
8.3.3. - Check by creating movement just outside of the required coverage
area to ensure that it goes undetected and thus prevent false alarming
