15.1 - Up Load Firmware
15.1.1 -
If you have been sent a Firmware ‘Dongle’ to fix a fault or because
you have purchased new or improved functionality you will need to carry
out the following to upload it to the control unit.

Remove Control Box Cover and isolate the supply
15.1.1.2
Isolate Internal Battery (by removing plug from PCB)
15.1.1.3
Plug in the dongle
to the ‘Com’ plug on the PCB
15.1.1.4
Power up the unit by re-connecting the supply
15.1.1.5
Check that the Firmware Dongle LED ‘flickers’ indicating
that the upload is active.
15.1.1.6
When upload is successfully completed the LED will
indicate a constant Green
15.1.1.7
If the up load has not completed successfully the LED will
indicate a constant Red
15.1.1.8
If unsuccessful: -
a.
Power down the unit by disconnecting the supply
b.
Wait for 1 minute and reconnect the supply
c.
Repeat steps 5
–
7 above.
15.1.1.9
If successful: -
a.
Power down the unit by disconnecting the supply
b.
Unplug the dongle
c.
Power up the unit by re-connecting the supply
d.
Re-connect the Internal Battery and refit Control Box

15.1.2 Post Firmware upgrade actions
Depending on the firmware upgrade there may be some post upload
tasks required. Instructions on any such tasks will be sent with the ‘Dongle’
