5.7. - PIR Sensor
5.7.1. - The PIR Sensor is available in either
wired or wireless models (both are non-
waterproof).
5.7.2. - The sensor uses a Passive Infra Red
detector. It operates by signalling when
movement is detected within its adjustable
detection area. The PIR is a Normally
Closed NC sensor.
5.7.3. - The PIR sensor is ideally located
high up in the corner of an area to be
protected. Further detailed information is
provided with the Sensor.
5.7.4. - The sensor should be securely
mounted to a stable, rigid surface. For the
wired version standard 4 core Alarm cable should be used, securely routed
back to the control unit.

When using default configuration connect (Wired version): -
PIR Connections:-
RED wire to one of the power + terminal
BLACK wire to the power
–
terminal
YELLOW wire to one of the Alarm terminals
BLUE wire to the other Alarm terminals
Control Box Connection: -
RED wire to one of the PowerOut terminals.
BLACK wire to one of the GroundOut terminals
BLUE wire to one of the GroundOut terminals
Yellow wire to the chosen Channel terminal (
e.g. terminal R (Channel 9)
