11.6. - RF Key fob Operations
11.6.1. - The RF Key Fob will operate when within the vicinity of the unit,
this will depend on a number of factors such as location
of unit within the boat, the boat construction etc. but
as a guide it will normally operate up to 30 meters. To
set up a new Key Fob refer to
‘
Configure Unit
’
section.
11.6.2.
–
The RF Key Fob will Part Arm, Full Arm and
Disarm the unit, it will also switch on and off the
switched circuit set to be operated by the RF Key Fob.
The centre button is currently not used. For
orientation purposes the key ring hole is considered
the bottom of the Key Fob
11.6.2.1 - To Part Arm press the
Right Button
11.6.2.2. - To Full Arm press the
Left Button
11.6.2.3. - To Disarm press the
Top Button
11.6.2.4. - To Switch on/off the RF Controlled switch press the
Bottom Button

The external bleeper (if fitted) will sound a single bleep to
indicate the system has been full armed, a double bleep to indicate it has
been disarmed, a triple bleep to indicate it has been partial armed and
four bleeps to indicate a blocked beam break path.
11.7. - To Control the Output Switch
11.7.1. - The device connected to the prime Output Switch is controllable
via the RF Key Fob (if in the vicinity of the unit (see above for controls))
and by SMS text message. This prime Output Switch and any other
channels configured to act as Switching Outputs (up to 8 are possible see

) can be controlled by SMS text
messages, send one the following messages. In the example shown the
Channel has been named as the Device, in this case
“
Lights
”
, although the
channel number can also be used in place of the name: -
