7. APPLICATION OF FUNCTIONS

7.1 Infinite feed function

POINT

This function can be used with the absolute position detection system.

When degree is set as the position data unit, [AL. E3.1 Multi-revolution counter travel distance excess
warning] does not occur and the home position is not erased even if the servo motor rotates 32768 rev or
more in the same direction. Thus, the current position is restored after the power is cycled. For other
command units, [AL. E3.1 Multi-revolution counter travel distance excess warning] occurs and the home
position is erased if the servo motor rotates 32768 rev or more in the same direction.

The following shows differences depending on the position data unit when the servo motor rotates 32768 rev
or more in the same direction.
