4.1.2. Recommendations for reuse life
The following recommendations are conceived as a guideline to ensure quality processing.

The REAGENTS SETTINGS makes the REAGENTS STATUS icon turn from GREEN to YELLOW to RED,
depending on the remaining reuse life of the reagents (for example 1 day, 2 cycles and/or 1 full cassette
rack, as described in the chapter 2.14).
Example, if reagent cassettes alert status is set at 30 and a reagent checked for the processed cassettes
has a limit of 180, the REAGENTS STATUS icon is GREEN until 149 cassettes (one full rack before
reaching the limit); then turns to YELLOW from 150 to 179 and then to red at 180 cassettes. When RED,
processing cannot be launched. Reagent status icon with different colours is shown below.
Default reagents settings are factory set, to assure optimal results. Don’t modify them.

It is suggested to change the WATER RINSING reagent every run, with tap water used to
flush the samples and the cavity after use of the fixative and the acid.
It is possible to set up a maximum number of 5 cycles only.
