2.8. Reagents
Complete the set up with reagents, by providing at least:
REAGENTS:
•
FIXATION: 1 tank of 2L Formalin 10% OR FineFIX
•
DECALCIFICATION: 1 tank of 2L EDTA 10% OR Formic acid 10% OR Hydrochloric acid 10% OR
Nitric acid 7%
•
WATER RINSING: 2 tanks of 2L Water
2.9. Log in and log out
As a default, when the system is switched on, the LOG IN screen appears. Press “Administrator” button,
enter the password (issued as a separate document inserted in the Operator Manual) and press “Enter”.
The Administrator HOME PAGE appears showing, as a default, the main functions grouped by different
colours.
In whatever screen you are, press the “Home” button to return to the HOME PAGE. You can customize
the HOME PAGE under the USERS settings, choosing between “Favourites” and “Main functions” (see
below).
Essential: at least one per category of the above reagents must be onsite and available at
time installation of unit.
For more information about the duration of each reagent see the chapter 4.1.2
ONLY FOR MINERAL ACIDS:
For safety reasons, it is important to set up if the new reagent is a Mineral acid, because
by default they cannot be heated more than 37°C.
SERVICE Log-in is available for authorized personnel only, and has complete to the unit
functionalities.
ADMINISTRATOR has restricted SERVICE functions access.
