4. REAGENTS MANAGEMENT
Select Reagents from the MAIN FUNCTIONS screen or press directly the Reagents status icon on the
STATUS BAR of the HOME PAGE (figure below left).
The REAGENTS MANAGEMENT window appears, showing the settings and the status of all the reagents
loaded in the unit. It is possible to check the reagents STATUS by selecting the relative TANK in the upper
part of the screen (figure below right).
4.1. Reagents reuse life
The PARAMETERS of the reagent selected are shown in details (figure below) on the lower part of the
screen.
Reagent’s REUSE LIFE (for further details see the chapter 4.1.1) can be checked by:
1. Expiration Date: this field automatically shows the reagent EXPIRING DATE, according to
requirements set into the Reagent List (green box, figure above).
2. Performed cycles: this field automatically shows the cycles already completed (green rectangle,
figure above).
3. Processed cassettes: this field automatically shows the cassettes already processed (green
rectangle, figure above).
Additional information is shown on the right side of the window (blue box rectangle) and refers to the
REAGENT SETTINGS edited into the Reagent list (figure above, yellow rectangle). See chapter 4.1.1 for
further clarifications.
The cassettes processed are counted in the following way:
1 standard cassette= 1 cassette
1 mega cassette= 2 cassettes
1 supermega cassette= 10 cassettes
