Exec Mode Commands
The commands available to the user at any given time depend on the current mode. Entering a
question mark (?) at the system prompt allows the user to obtain a list of commands available
for each command mode.
When the user starts a session on the sRB-20210G, the initial mode is User mode, often called
Exec or Admin mode. Only a limited subset of the commands is available in Exec (Admin)
mode.
When a CLI session is started, the user enters the Exec mode that allows view-only access of
Switch configuration parameters.
In order to have access to all commands, the user must enter Privileged Mode. Normally, the
user must enter a password to enter Privileged Mode. From the Privileged Mode, the user can
enter any Exec command since they are also listed in that mode or enter the Configuration
Mode. From this menu, the user can also go back to Exec Mode.
The following are the commands available in the Exec Mode.
NOTE:
The > prompt indicates that you are in Exec Mode.
