20.2.5 The RAVENNA Menu
The RAVENNA menu contains 7 tabs. Most of these are informational in nature, although it is possible to change
a few options using options found on the “Global” and “PTP” tabs. This information may be used for
troubleshooting and to determine the presence and activity of configured streams.
Global Tab
The
Global
tab displays Power Core’s RAVENNA channel addresses and ports which have been preconfigured
using On Air Designer. Channels may be enabled or disabled using adjacent check boxes.
As a convenience, you may enter new temporary settings, but we strongly recommend that new permanent
values be configured using On Air Designer as temporary changes will be lost after Power Core reboot. Any
temporary changes made require RAVENNA to be restarted in order to take effect.
·
mDNS Channels.
Four Power Core RAVENNA channel addresses using the multicast Domain Name
System
defined in IETF
RFC 6762 are displayed, with their multicast IP addresses and port numbers.
·
SAP Channels.
Same as above, except displays channel information which uses the Session
Announcement Protocol defined in IETC RFC 2974.
·
Control
shows whether RAVENNA is currently running or stopped.
