20. Maintenance

20.3.8 Updating Software on a Selected Component

Use this method when you wish to update software to a specific system component. For example, to transfer the
latest software to a new IO card.

Select the system unit and the component type you wish to update using the menu tree on the left hand

side of the main window – for example,

from the top menu bar followed by

Software Update

Selected

The

Selected

menu option is only be available if you have first selected a system and branch as described in

step 1.

Select the modules to update by clicking on them.

To select multiple entries: press and hold the

CTRL

button on your computer keyboard while selecting from

the list.

To select a range: select the first entry, press and hold

CTRL

plus

SHIFT

and then select the last entry.

The selected modules are highlighted in grey.
