5. Installation

Insert the new card into the slot, and gently slide it into place:

Make sure that the card glides smoothly into the side guide-rails. When fitted correctly, it will lock into place.

If you are hot plugging a card, then after a few seconds, the card will boot. You can check the status of the new
card from the

Web UI

(go to the

System

States

page).

Now fasten the two screws to fix the card in place.

CAUTION

ALWAYS

secure the IO card using the screws provided. This protects the operator from contact

with live parts; protects the card from being pulled out unintentionally; and reduces the emission of electro-
magnetic radiation.

When you have fitted all the IO cards for your system, check that all cards are screwed into the frame

and that any empty slots are closed with metal cover plates.

The installation is now complete, and you can wire your audio devices to the IO card connectors.

If you have installed a MADI card, then you will need fit a Lawo-certified SFP module to each port. see
