5. Installation

5.6

Getting Operational

To complete the installation, please work through the following steps. In the first instance, you should check and
update the device firmware. The rest of the steps can be performed in any order. For more details on each
procedure, please click on the relevant links.

1.

Update the device firmware.

The latest firmware is available from the

Download-Center

at

(after

Login

).

Download the release onto a service computer, and then use the firmware update tool (

) to check

and update all system components.

2.

Transfer a configuration onto the device.

To get the system working, you will need to transfer a suitable configuration using the

ON-AIR Designer

. Start

the software and open the project. Then transfer the configuration to the device. You will find full details on these
procedures in the separate "ON-AIR DESIGNER User Guide".

Once the transfer is complete, POWER CORE will cold start and load the configuration at the end of boot-up.

Complete the system

4.

Connect and configure the

5.

Install the license for your feature set using the online Lawo licensing

6.

Check and, if necessary, change the IP address of the POWER CORE control system using the

7.

If your system has been in transit or storage for more than 3 days, then reset the Date and Time using
