VS-1616DN-EM

input / output cards mount in one of the 16 slots on the rear of the

VS-1616DN-EM

chassis. Slots are numbered from left to right (The process for inserting

cards is the same for all cards / chassis and the figures below are for illustration purposes
only.)

An input card must only be mounted in a slot designated for input cards (slots 1 to 4 and 9 to
12) and an output card must only be mounted in a slot designated for output cards (slots 5 to
8 and 13 to 16).
