Copying Onto Manually Fed Paper
To copy using the Manual Bypass Tray

Load the document to be copied.
❍ Refer to “Loading the Document” on page 4-1.

Adjust the paper guides to fit the
size of the paper, and then insert
one sheet of paper with the front
side facing down, lightly sliding the
paper as much as possible into the
feed slot.
The manual bypass mark appears
in the bottom line of the screen.
?
Is a card or a postcard loaded?
➜ Make sure that it is not curled
(rolled).

Press the [NO] key (“RESET”), and
then use the [
] and [ ] keys to
select the type of paper loaded.

Press the [YES] key.

Using the [ ] and [ ] keys, select
the size of paper loaded.
❍ If “OHP” was selected in step 3,
set the paper size to A4 C or
A4 L.
