68) If a failure is present with sharp braking, the rear wheels may lock and the vehicle may swerve.

If, when the ignition device is turned to ENGINE, the warning light does not switch on or stays on while driving, there may be an
anomaly in the restraint systems. In this case the airbags or pretensioners may not deploy in case of an accident or, in a more limited
number of cases, they may be deployed accidentally. Before continuing, contact a Jeep Dealership to have the system immediately
checked.
70) The failure of the warning light is signalled by the switching on of the icon on the instrument panel. In this case, the warning
light may not indicate any faults with the restraint systems. Before continuing, contact a Jeep Dealership to have the system immediately
checked.
IMPORTANT
37) If, when turning the ignition device to ENGINE, the warning light does not switch on, or switches on constantly or flashes while
driving, contact a Jeep Dealership as soon as possible.
Green warning/indicator lamps
Lamp Meaning
Stop­Start (Petrol versions)
Fixed: when the vehicle stops, the Stop­Start puts the engine into STOP mode.
Flashing temporarily: STOP mode is momentarily unavailable or START mode is automatically triggered. For more
information, refer to the "Starting and driving" section.
Vehicle ready to drive (Electric versions)
Fixed, accompanied by an audible signal when it comes on: the vehicle is ready to drive. The indicator lamp goes out
upon reaching a speed of approximately 5 km/h (3 mph) and lights up again when the vehicle stops moving. The lamp
will go out when you turn off the engine and exit the vehicle.
Direction indicators
Flashing with audible signal: the direction indicators are on.
Daytime running lamps/Sidelamps
Fixed. With adequate ambient light, the daytime running lamps are on. With inadequate ambient light, the sidelamps are
on.
