Scan Head
Description
The water-cooled scan head is a state-of-the-art imaging device. It is software
controlled by the workstation and yields intricate patterns with minimal stage
motion.
The digital servo circuitry includes powerful algorithms that can boost dynamic
performance and marking quality. The electronics extensively enhance the range of
diagnosis possibilities as well as communication between the scan system and the
workstation computer.
Refer to the Galvanometer chapter in the
IX Series
“Setup and Operation: Chroma.Net”
software manual (IPG part number P21-010174) for more information on the setup
and operation of the galvanometer in the context of the IX-6168-PS workstation.
