The Enclosure

Modular Wall and Ceiling Panels
The wall panels on the enclosure can be removed for access to different areas of
system for service and maintenance purposes only. The panels are secured to the
enclosure with special locking fasteners.
Figure 43: Wall Panel Fastener—for safety purposes, these panels can only be removed with the controlled
operating key on the left.
WARNING!
Only qualified service technicians should remove an enclosure panel. Never run the
system without all the panels securely installed. Doing so is both a laser and toxic safety
hazard.
To remove a panel:
1. Shut down the system or place it in service mode.
2. If the panel has any accessories attached to it be sure all cables are unplugged.
3. Using the key with the double bit-head, provided in the toolbox, turn the two
quick-release fasteners at the top of the panel by ¼ turn.
4. Carefully lift the panel by its two handles and swing it out of its track. The panel
will only swing in one direction due to the interlocking mechanism of the panels
with each other.
5. When the service is complete reinstall the panel ensuring a tight fit to prevent the
laser or toxins escaping the enclosure.
