Pneumatics Panel
The pneumatics panel includes:

A filter-regulator assembly that filters, dries, and regulates the pressure of the
compressed air supplied to the rest of the system
❑
A vacuum sensor meter to display and interface with the part vacuum detect and
air puff feature used with the lift chuck
❑
Manifold solenoids that switch compressed air on and off to individual
components
❑
High-purity solenoids that switch vacuum, purge gas, or purified air on and off to
individual components
❑
A Purge Panel with flow meters and pressure regulators
The pneumatics panel is on the inside left wall of the workstation enclosure. Some
systems also include a separate purge panel, as shown here and discussed in the next
section.
