AC and DC Power Distribution
The workstation uses 5-wire, 3-phase, Wye, 208-400 VAC for its main power. Power
enters the AC/DC power enclosure and is distributed from there to the rest of the
system. This enclosure is located in the upper left rear corner of the workstation.
WARNING! LETHAL voltage is present in the AC/DC distribution box, even when the AC disconnect
switch is off. The components in this box are NOT user-serviceable. DO NOT OPEN this
box.
AC Circuit Breakers
Opening the workstation’s rear door provides access to the AC circuit breakers, as
well as an emergency stop button. The AC disconnect switch and another emergency
stop button are located on the left side of the workstation, without opening the rear
door.

The Emergency Stop Button powers down the laser and chiller. The computer,
some of the AC voltages and all of the DC power supplies remain on.

The AC disconnect switch cuts off all power, including the AC main power and
the power supply that supplies 24VDC for the emergency stop circuit.
