This diagram shows the numbered positions on the I/O motherboard for output
relays and input optoisolators. The following tables list the system’s input and output
assignments.
Digital I/O Positions
PC Interface Card
The I/O card in the system computer has 48 configurable digital inputs and outputs.
This card plugs into the system computer’s motherboard.
I/O Electronics
The digital I/O electronics are based on an I/O motherboard. Plugged into the
motherboard are input optoisolators, output relays, and a safety interlock board.
Terminal blocks provide connection points for digital I/O devices.
