Motion-Control Amplifiers
The electronics enclosure has room for as many as 12 motion-control amplifiers,
arranged in three banks of four and numbered as shown here:

Each amplifier is one of four types, depending on the type of axis it controls:

Supplies 72 VDC motor voltage for standard stepmotors

Supplies TTL-level control signals and 24 VDC motor voltage for IMS
smart stepmotors
Low current step-
motor amplifier
Supplies 24 VDC motor voltage for low current stepmotors
