Shutting Down the System
The system can be shut down in one of three ways:
Normal Power-Down
To power down system components:
1. Make sure the system is idle, with no routines or macros running.
2. In the main workstation screen, click
Logout Operator
in the upper right corner.
then click “
Shutdown”
in the
User Access Control-User Login
screen.

3. Click the red “X” to close the Chroma.NET program.
4. Shut down Windows.
5. After the computer shuts down, press the red SYSTEM PO
WER OFF
button on the
front of the workstation. The PC and internal system electronics turn off.

Shutdown Type
Description and Use
Normal
power-down
Turn off all system components. Use for longer-term shutdown.
Temporary
shutdown
Leave the system powered on, but shut down control software and
disable the laser. Use for short shutdown.
Emergency or
service shutdown
Disconnect all power from the system.
