13 Connecting power
Perform the impedance measurements using the
ECOS C7106 tester (USA only). Reference:
Electrical Safety for IBM Customer Engineers,
S229-8124
, Chapter 4. If the proper equipment is
not available, refer to page 1-5 and perform the
necessary measurements.
Attention:
1. Connect the display power cable to the rear
of the display.
Note: The power cord which comes with
the display might be inappropriate
for your location. Discard this cord,
and use the proper one supplied in
the Multiprise 3000 ship group.
2. Connect the display power cable to the
building power.
3. Connect the optional printer power cable to
building power.
Repeat this procedure if you have additional 7060's
to install.
