3 Customizing Phone Numbers
Important
Refer to the corresponding pages in the
Resource Link WEB Site for the data that you
will enter on these panels.
From the Hardware Management Console
Workplace panel.
1. Select your Country identifier.
2. In the U.S. or Canada
Asynchronous
connection only
select your state or
providence.
3. Select appropriate phone numbers from the
list of phone numbers that appears.
4. When complete select
finish
.
5. When the information window appears
select
Continue
.
Note:
If no numbers appear in the selection field
or if you need to manually override the
default numbers you can manually input the
numbers into the calling fields.
Note:
Dialing prefixes are not needed they are
passed through the previous panel.
Note:
Modify the selected numbers as necessary.
For example predefined numbers include
area codes if the call is a local call from
your location the area code can be
removed from the dialing string.
Note:
For
Asynchronous
connections in the
United States and Canada, a "back-up" 800
phone number will be listed. This
"back-up" number is only active if the local
number is out of service. The back-up
number should always be the last number
in the list.
