Completing the installation
1 Completing the CE installation
1. Store the unused wrap plugs that were
shipped.
2. Give all extra cables to the customer (some
customes may have ordered extra cables
when the system was ordered).
3. Install and close all covers.
Open and close each cover to ensure
covers open and close easily. If not, adjust
the cover latch plunger for ease of latching
and unlatching.
2 The documentation
System documentation is avalible at it's most
current update at the following WEB site:
http://www.ibm.com/servers/resourcelink
Updates to current printed documentation will be
indentified by a suffix level indicator on the
publication number.
Installation Manual
SY24-6154-00a The lower case "a" at the end of
the document number indicates an update to the
printed publication shipped with the machine.
Save all diskettes and store them in the box in
which they came.
Save all optical cartridges sent with the system (the
backup cartridge is an IBM asset and should be
treated accordingly).
Store all unused items in the system area where
they can be easily retrieved.
