3 Building the data set
The Input/Output Configuration panel displays.
1. Select Options from the action bar.
2. Select Build data set from the pull-down.
The Build Configuration Data Set panel
displays.
3. Select Ignore unrecognized card
statements if there are MVSCP statements
in addition to IOCP statements.
4. If you want to build the data set for LPAR
mode, select Build the IOCDS for
Logically partitioned mode
5. Select OK
The Confirm the Action panel displays.
(This panel only displays the first time a
build is requested.)
6. Select Ok
A Configuration Task in Progress panel
displays while the IOCP program is run.
The IOCP program may take up to 12
minutes to complete. When complete, a
message displays confirming the function is
complete.
7. Select OK .
8. Select Options from the action bar.
9. Select Exit from the pull-down.
