2 Importing the source file
Note: The active data set cannot be changed at
this time. This is the one you selected for
the power-on reset (IML). Select one of the
other data sets. If you need to use the
active data set, you must perform a
power-on reset using one of the other valid
data sets.
1. Under the title “Data Set Status,” select any
valid data set (not the active one) that you
want to change.
2. Select Options from the action bar.
3. Select Import source file from the
pull-down.
The extended option pull-down displays
4. Select Hardware Management Console
diskette , Hardware Management Console
hard drive or Support Element diskette
depending on your system configuration.
5. Select OK .
If importing diskette the Insert Diskette
panel displays, continue with step 6. If
importing from hard drive, the Import
Source File panel displays, continue with
step 8.
6. Insert the diskette which contains the
source file into the diskette drive.
7. Select OK
The Import Source File panel displays.
8. Select the name of the file on diskette.
9. Select OK
The Remove Diskette panel displays.
10. Remove the diskette from the diskette
drive.
11. Select OK
