Installing the Frames
1 Removing the packing material
1. Remove all of the tape and packing
material from the outside of each frame
(save shipping materials and container).
2. Inventory the components.
3. Remove all of the tape and packing
material from the inside of each frame.
2 Preparing the frames
1. Position each frame according to the
customer floor plan.
There can be a maximum of three
frames to a 7060 String.
The first frame contains the CPC and
the Support Element.
The second frame can be a:
a. I/O 01 a channel and DASD cage.
The third cage can only be a:
a. I/O 02 a DASD cage only.
