Customize Console Date/Time (Hardware Management Console)
1 Customizing the Hardware Management
Console date/time
Note: If you have an existing system attached to
this LAN with a (FC6150) TIMER card or
(FC6152) ETRD card installed and attached
to a 9037 Sysplex Timer via a fiber optic
link the time will be updated automatically
and synchronized by the 9037 Sysplex
Timer. Continue on with this procedure to
set the time for your time zone for the
purpose of the install.
From the Hardware Management Console
Workplace panel.
1. Open Console Actions from the Views
area
2. Open Customize Console Date/Time from
the Console Actions Work Area
The Customize Console Time and Date
panel displays.
Important
Refer to the corresponding pages in the
Resource Link WEB Site for the data
that you will enter on these panels.
3. Use the instructions on the panel or Press
F1 for help to enter the data for all the
fields on this panel, then select
Customize .
The Customize Console Time and Date
message displays stating that the operation
was successful.
4. Select OK from the message panel
The Customize Time and Date panel
displays.
5. Select close from the window pull down
