Transit Time
The transit time is the time that elapses between the input of a bit in the local trans-
mitter and the output of this bit from the remote receiver, assuming a zero trans-
mission delay over the telephone line.
Transmitter and receiver refer to the V.24 interface.

RFS Delay
The RFS delay is 7 to 20 bit-time for LIC type 6 in any configuration. It must be
added to the transit time to evaluate the turnaround time.
