The function of the LED indicators are:
•
Receive -
The Receive indicator shows whether the remote
terminal has acquired the correct outroute, is receiving, or if
some condition is preventing reception.
•
Transmit -
The Transmit indicator shows whether the remote
terminal can transmit or is transmitting, or if some condition
is preventing transmission.
•
Power -
The Power indicator shows whether or not the
remote terminal is powered on and operating normally.
•
LAN -
The LAN indicator shows whether the LAN is
connected and usable, and whether there is receive or
transmit activity.
•
System -
The System indicator shows whether or not the
remote terminal is operational
LED appearances
during normal operation
This section describes the appearance of the HX50/HX100 LEDs
during normal remote terminal operation.
Front panel LEDs
When the remote terminal is powered on and transmitting or
receiving data:
•
The Receive LED is on and blinks intermittently as frames
are received.
•
The Transmit LED is on and blinks intermittently as frames
are transmitted.
•
The Power LED is on.

Note:
If the power LED blinks, it means that the remote terminal
is operating with a backup version of software, referred to as
fallback.bin
. This usually occurs when the unit is first installed.
The unit may operate with the fallback.bin if the primary version
of software, referred to as the
main.bin
, does not successfully load;
in this case, power cycle the unit by disconnecting the power cord
from the power source, waiting 10 seconds, and then plugging it
back in.
