Receive Polarization
- polarization orientation; either
horizontal or vertical.

- IP address of the primary GTWY router
used to route data sent by the remote terminal.

Software Configuration section - network address translation
(NAT), DHCP, Firewall, and Turbo Page features are
enabled or disabled at the HX GTWY and cannot be changed
by the remote user.

Network Address Translation
(NAT) - typically used to
allow multiple computers to share a single address on the
Internet. It also allows pre-configured remote networks to
be integrated easily with the HX system network.

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
(DHCP) if enabled,
simplifies network configuration of the computers. The
computers need only to be set up to “Obtain IP address
automatically.”

Turbo Page
- if enabled, speeds web surfing.

Firewall
- if enabled, allows you to specify packet filtering
rules.

Transmit Radio Wattage
- May list either the wattage or
the transmit radio part number, depending on which was
selected during the commissioning process. See Chapter 4
