Disconnect the cables from the extinguishant abort button, and remove the panel of the
extinguishant abort button.

Disconnecting cables from the extinguishant abort button

As a resistor is installed on the loop of the extinguishant abort button, remove the resistor, and connect
the resistor to the corresponding terminals of the new extinguishant abort button when you replace the
extinguishant abort button.

Step 4

Remove the screws on the extinguishant abort button base using a Phillips screwdriver, and
remove the base.
