Remove the screws on the extinguishant discharge abort panel using a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the cables from the extinguishant discharge abort, and remove the extinguishant
discharge abort panel.
As a resistor is installed on the loop of the extinguishant discharge abort, remove the resistor, and
connect the resistor to the corresponding terminals of the new extinguishant discharge abort when you
replace the extinguishant discharge abort.
Step 4
Remove the screws on the extinguishant discharge abort base using a Phillips screwdriver,
and remove the base.
Step 5
Install the new extinguishant discharge abort base in the same way.
Step 6
Connect the cables to the new extinguishant discharge abort panel. Ensure that the polarities
of the cables are correctly connected.
Step 7
Install the new extinguishant discharge abort panel in the same way.
Step 8
Switch on the input circuit breaker of the extinguishant control panel and connect the battery
cables to power on the panel.
Step 9
Check whether the new abort switch is working properly.
1.
Disconnect the wiring terminals from the electric control head on the fire cylinder.
After the wiring terminals are disconnected from the electric control head, the extinguishant control
panel generates a FAULT RELAY alarm, which is normal.
2.
Press the manual gas release button on the extinguishant control panel.
3.
Press the extinguishant discharge abort, and rotate it counterclockwise.
If you press the extinguishant discharge abort, the countdown stops. After you reset the extinguishant
discharge abort, the countdown starts from zero again. This indicates that the extinguishant discharge
abort is working properly.
4.
Reset the manual gas release button.
5.
Connect the wiring terminals of the electric control head on the fire cylinder.
6.
Flip the key to
Enable Control
rightward. Reset the extinguishant control panel by
pressing
Reset
on it. Then, reset the key to
Enable Control
leftward.
