Description
Use the
slave
auto-update
config
command to enable the configuration file auto-save function.
Use the
undo slave
auto-update
config
command to disable the function.
By default, the configuration file auto-save function is enabled.

Parameters
cfgfile
: Configuration file name. The file must be a file with an extension .cfg stored in the storage
media’s root directory.
Description
Use the
startup saved-configuration
command to specify a startup configuration file for the active MPU
and standby MPU. (In standalone mode)
Use the
undo
startup saved-configuration
command to configure the active MPU and standby MPU to
start up with the null (factory) configuration. (In standalone mode)
Use the
startup saved-configuration
command to specify a startup configuration file for each MPU of the
IRF fabric. (In IRF mode)
Use the
undo
startup saved-configuration
command to configure all the MPUs to start up with the null
(factory) configuration. (In IRF mode)
The startup configuration file of the active MPU and standby MPU must be the same. Before using the
command, ensure that the specified configuration file has been saved to the root directory of the storage
media of both the active MPU and standby MPU; otherwise, the command will fail. (In standalone mode)
The startup configuration file of all MPUs of the IRF fabric must be the same. Before using the command,
ensure that the specified configuration file has been saved to the root directory of the storage media of
each MPU; otherwise, the command will fail. (In IRF mode)
When you execute the
undo
startup saved-configuration
command and reboot the IRF fabric or an IRF
member switch, the IRF fabric is partitioned. Use this command with caution. (In IRF mode)
