: Specifies an IRF member switch. The
chassis-number
argument represents the IRF
member ID of the switch. If no member switch is specified, the command reboots all IRF member switches.

slot

: Specifies the slot number of a card.
Description
Use the
reboot
command to reboot a card, a switch, or an IRF fabric.
If you are performing file operations at the reboot time, no reboot occurs for data security.
CAUTION:
•
Device reboot can interrupt ongoing services.
•
If the main system software image file has been corrupted or does not exist, the
reboot
command cannot
reboot the switch. You must re-specify a main system software image file, or power off the switch and
then power it on so the system can reboot with the backup system software image file.
•
In standalone mode, if no card is specified, the whole system reboots.
