Description
Use
igmp proxying forwarding
to enable a non-querier downstream interface to forward multicast traffic.
Use
undo igmp proxying forwarding
to disable the forwarding capability of a non-querier downstream
interface.
By default, a non-querier downstream interface does not forward multicast traffic.
Examples
# Enable the multicast forwarding capability on VLAN-interface 100, a non-querier downstream
interface on the IGMP proxy switch.

Description
Use
igmp require-router-alert
to configure the interface to discard IGMP messages that do not carry the
Router-Alert option.
Use
undo igmp require-router-alert
to restore the default.
By default, the switch does not check the Router-Alert option but passes all the IGMP messages that it
receives to the upper layer protocol for processing.
