Cleaning the central distributor
In case of contamination or blockage, the central
distributor can be cleaned also while the seed
hopper is full.

Remove the blind plug on both sides (9) and
push in the gate valve (10).

Open the maintenance flaps (8)
Overview
and
remove any contamination.

Remove seed from the area of the mainte-
nance flaps (8).

Close the maintenance flaps (8)

Pull out the gate valve and push it to the
parking position (10).
¾
Insert the blind plug into the slot and press it
down (4).
NOTE
¾
Check all closures on the central distributor
after cleaning. Seed jammed at the mainte-
nance flaps causes leaks!
Air losses in the area of the central distributor
may cause serious drilling errors!
Error messages in the drill controls may be
caused by air losses in the MTS System or
in the vacuum area!
Closing the outlets
If individual rows are no supplied with seed, the
outlets can be closed with blind plugs. On the
Maestro 8 CV 4 outlets are closed.

Loosen the bayonet lock on the connection
and remove the hose.

Plug in the blind plug and lock the bayonet
lock:

On all outlets, either a hose must be connect-
ed to the metering unit or a blind plug inserted.
Air losses in the area of the central distributor
may cause serious drilling errors!
