Seed calibration
The calibration sequence and the input on
the terminal is identical with the calibration for
seed/fertiliser.
NOTE
Initial use
The metering units must first run in during initial
use.
¾
During initial use repeat calibration after one
hour running.
NOTE
Running-in period
The metering augers must run in before calibra-
tion or before filling with seed/granulate.
¾
Allow the metering augers to run in for at least
10 min. before calibration.
¾
For calibration remove the bottom covering
and hook the calibration bag to the frame,
place it under the opening.
Covering on the metering unit
¾
Select and install the metering augers.
¾
Fill the hopper with granulate.
¾
Run the metering auger for at least 10 min.
so that it is completely filled and calibration
will not be falsified (see E-Manager -
filling the
metering cells
).
¾
Run the calibration and enter the calibration
weight (see E-Manager instructions).
¾
If equipped with two metering augers, they
must both be calibrated.
¾
Drilling can be started if the appropriate speed
range is displayed after entering the weight.
¾
If the indicated speed range is not suitable for
drilling, the metering auger may need to be re-
placed and the calibration process repeated.
