Ring spanner 24 mm, 30 mm, 36 mm with
extension, if necessary
•
Torque wrench 800 Nm
•
Jack with lifting force 5,000 kg
•
Tripod trestle with permitted load capacity
min. 5,000 kg
Adjusting the semi-axle
1. Park the machine on a level and paved area.
2. Engage the brake.
3. Place the jack on the side of the wheel to be
changed at the jack lifting point of the axle.
4. When using a hydraulic jack without safety
lock, use a tripod trestle or similar support
device in addition to secure the load against
lowering.
5. Lift the axle with the jack until the wheel is
clear but still touches the ground lightly.
6. Adjust the tripod trestle to the correct length
and put it under the axle.

7. Loosen the screws (a):
8. Push the axle to the desired position (b).
9. Tighten the screws with 800 ± 50 Nm tight-
ening torque.

Dismantle the twin wheel from the semi-axle

Dismantle both wheels from the connecting
tube, turn and mount them (300 Nm).

Mount the twin wheel on the semi-axle, see
Changing wheels
(510 Nm) section.

Dismantle the twin wheel from the semi-axle

¾
Dismantle both wheels from the connecting
tube (d).
¾
Turn the connecting tube and assemble the
wheels (300 Nm).
