Filling screw
WARNING
Danger of severe injury caused by the rotating
auger.

Never reach into the rotating screw!
¾
Operate the auger only when the swivelling
parts has been unfolded and locked.
¾
When the auger is folded, all openings must
be closed with coverings and lids.
¾
Deactivate the drive before beginning with
maintenance work and secure it against
restarting.
¾
The three-way valve for switching the auger
on and off must always be in the STOP po
-
sition before folding.
¾
Switch the three-way valve to the STOP po-
sition after the power supply has failed. Make
sure before reactivation that no persons are
present in the danger zone.

Traffic accidents caused by the screw swinging
out.

Always fold in and secure the screw before
road travel.
The filling device consists of a fixed and a move
-
able auger half.
It enables simple and quick filling of the fertiliser
hopper.
Filling auger folded
It is driven by a hydraulic motor, which is directly
connected with the tractor.
NOTE
¾
Do not overspeed the filling screw and let it
run with max. 400 rpm and an oil volume of
approx. 64 litres.
Thoroughly clean the auger, especially after
using it with dressing or fertiliser. These agents
are aggressive and promote corrosion.
