Fertiliser coulter
WARNING
Lowering machine parts can cause severe
crushing accidents!
¾
Support the raised machine and machine
parts by appropriate means. Do not work
under the raised machine without proper
safeguards.
With the solid fertiliser equipment, the fertiliser
can be placed together with the seed.
The fan directs the fertiliser through the distrib-
utor to the coulter discs and into the ground.
The coulter discs for solid fertiliser are laterally
offset to the seed placement by 6 cm. They are
resiliently mounted and able to escape upwards
when encountering stones.
Adjusting the coulter pressure
NOTE
¾
Set a low pressure first and increase it as
necessary.
The coulter pressure for fertiliser placement can
be adjusted by two different springs in different
positions.
The associated sticker shows the possible
combinations of the springs and the resulting
coulter pressure:

Positions for springs (A-C)
If both springs are in position (A), the springs do
not generate additional coulter pressure for the
dead weight of the fertiliser coulter.
¾
Lift the seed bar. This relieves the springs.
¾
Position the bolts together with the hooked
in springs according to the required coulter
pressure and secure with cotter pins.
Example
•
grey spring: Position (A)
•
black spring: Position (C)
