3.4. Extended concentrated cleaning
Concerns:

RBC/PLT chamber and aperture cleaning

WBC/HGB chamber and aperture cleaning
Required tools:
◆
5ml or 10ml syringe
Required products:
◆
ABX Minoclair 0.5L (P/n: 0401005) or bleach containing 12% active chlorine
Intervention time:

Approximately 30 minutes
Specific kits or consumable products:

None
Procedure:
1- Perform 3 backflush cycles (See 3.3.3. Backflush, page 7-8 ).
2- Drain the chambers (See 3.3.4. Chambers draining, page 7-9 ).
3- Open the main door (See 3.2. Cover dismantling, page 7-6 ).
4- Locate the opening on the top of the chamber (shield or not).
5- Fill both chambers with 5mL of the ABX Minoclair.
6- Let the solution set for 10 minutes in the chambers.
7- After 10 minutes, run a concentrated cleaning (See 3.3.5. Concentrated cleaning, page 7-9 ).
8- Once the cleaning cycle is complete, perform 3 backflush cycles (See 3.3.3. Backflush, page 7-8 ).
9- Press " Status " button to open " Status " area.
10- Press " Startup " button to run a startup. Verify that reference blank results are within their limits.
11- Re-run quality control and verify that the results are within the assay limits listed on the control
assay sheet that comes with the controls.

If the problem still persists, repeat steps <1> through <11> again.

Support Representative.
