Procedure on ABX Micros ES60 OT:
1- Open the main door (See 3.2. Cover dismantling, page 7-6 ).
2- Hold the sampling needle mounting bracket on the upper right edge and move the sampling
needle downwards until you can see the top of the needle and sample tubing.
3- Remove the tubing from the top of the sampling needle.
4- Place the small vial just below the end of the sampling needle.
5- Connect a piece of tubing to the tip of the syringe and aspirate the ABX Minoclair.
6- Place the free end of the syringe tubing on the top end of the sampling needle and flush the
needle. Verify that the solution is flowing directly into the small vial.
7- Once the sampling needle is free from blockage, carefully remove the small vial.
8- Re-connect the sample tubing to the top of the needle so that it is air tight.
9- Hold the sampling needle mounting bracket on the upper right edge and move the sampling
needle upwards until the tip of the sampling needle is about 1 inch below the rinsing block.
10- Press " Status " button to open " Status " area.
11- Press " Startup " button to run a startup. Verify that reference blank results are within their limits.
12- Re-run the Quality Controls to verify correct results.
If the sampling needle is free from blockage, the flow will appear to be
straight. If a blockage is present, the flow will appear to be flared and/or at
an angle. Flush the needle until the flow is straight.
